Fashion in France
Djamila Kerdoun, CEO of DK Ambassador company has founded the Sommet International de la Mode, follows the recommendations of Lyne Cohen-Solal’s report on fashion in France and exchanges, needs expected during the “Forum de la Mode” in Paris presented in December 2015 under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and the Minister of the Economy, Industry and Digital.
Redefining Style
Sommet internationnal de la Mode (SIM) is organized with the support of the Professional Committee for the Economic Development of Clothing (DEFI) and with the support of the Fédération Française de la Couture, the Prêt-à-porter des Couturiers and the Fashion Designers and the French Federation Of Women’s.
What is The Sommet International de la Mode Concept ?
As a leading country in the fashion industry, France has always been a privileged attraction for people coming from all over the world. However, there has never been an adequate event or a special service in France to honour these visitors and to meet their high expectations. It was out of this lack of such a private luxury service and because little has been done in France to promote the image of Europe and other countries that the concept of DK Ambassador has been created by Co-Founder Djamila Kerdoun.
This concept came about to also honour the specificities of Europe and the greatness of foreign countries cultures. DK Ambassador has been a leading body to set up for foreign countries tourists special accompaniment services to exclusive events even when the purpose of being in France is not only for tourism but also for business ends. We are, thus, pioneer in creating this concept in France that was embodied in Le Sommet International de la Mode.
Inauguration of the event
With both a French and an Arab background, DK Ambassador made it one of its primary priorities to establish the concept of Le Sommet International de la Mode as a way to foster discussion and exchange ideas and opinions around shared values.
While introducing to the French Fashion industry a more innovative way to meet the expectations of experts and partners from the luxury market, we were adamant in innovating ways to help provide the foreign Countries’ clients with a special service especially dedicated to them and in accordance with their traditions and cultural heritage.
General Information about the summit
This event comprises of collection shows as well as exhibition installations for designers & sponsors. This program allows foreign and French young & upcoming designers to interact with industry professionals via a group collection show & installation. Le Sommet International de la Mode by DK Ambassador® further provides brands and corporate, brand activation opportunities.
This summit will be the biggest and the most unique, creative and important international plateform. This summit against sponsorships also creates avenues to assist brands reach their marketing objectives.
As the only industry based fashion design trade event, DK Ambassador assists in designer wear business development, industry growth, and brands to activate and reach their target audience.
